How DxT LLC collects, uses, and protects the information you share with our apps and this website. Plain language up top; the details below.

Last updated: May 1, 2026
The short version We try to collect as little as we can. We don't sell your data. Some of our apps show ads or offer in-app purchases. Those services have their own privacy policies, linked below. If you have questions, email dxt.outreach@gmail.com.

Overview

DxT LLC ("DxT", "we", "us") is a small in-house team that makes mobile games and apps for the Google Play Store, Apple App Store, and this website at dxtapps.com. This policy explains what information we and our service providers collect when you use those products.

By using our apps or this site, you consent to the practices described here. If you don't agree, please stop using the apps and contact us if you'd like your data removed.

What we collect

The categories of information our apps may handle:

  • Account info. When an app requires sign-in (for online multiplayer or saved progress), we may collect an email address, display name, and an encrypted password, or accept authentication tokens from Google or Apple.
  • Gameplay & usage data. Match history, scores, in-app preferences, and similar data used to power features like leaderboards, saved games, and crash recovery.
  • Device info. Device type, OS version, language, time zone, anonymous device identifiers, and crash logs. This helps us reproduce bugs and tune performance.
  • Purchase info. If you make an in-app purchase, the transaction is processed by Google Play Billing or Apple In-App Purchase. We receive a confirmation of the purchase, but we never see or store your full payment card details.
  • Content you submit. Forum posts, messages, custom word decks, and similar content you choose to upload to features like Chime. In or Hangman!.

How we use information

  • To operate and improve our apps and this website.
  • To authenticate you, sync progress across devices, and match you with other players.
  • To diagnose crashes, fix bugs, and prevent abuse or cheating.
  • To deliver in-app purchases and (where applicable) advertising.
  • To respond when you contact support.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Advertising & analytics

Some of our free apps display advertisements served by third-party ad networks (for example, Google AdMob). These networks may use anonymous identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID or Apple's IDFA) to deliver and measure ads. Where required by law, we ask for your consent before personalised ads are shown.

We may also use crash-reporting and analytics services (such as Firebase Crashlytics and Google Analytics for Firebase) to understand how features are used in aggregate. These services have their own privacy policies. Please review them through the links in their respective developer documentation.

You can reset or limit ad-tracking at the OS level: on Android via Settings → Privacy → Ads, on iOS via Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Children's privacy

Our apps are not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Sharing & disclosure

We share information only in these limited cases:

  • Service providers that host our servers, process payments, deliver crash reports, serve ads, or send transactional email, and only with the information they need to do their job.
  • Other players see your display name (and any avatar you set) inside online features. Match history relevant to a game is visible to the other player.
  • Legal requests when we believe disclosure is required by law, subpoena, or to protect the safety of our users or the public.
  • Business transfers in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you before any change of control takes effect.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards (TLS in transit, encrypted storage for credentials, scoped access for service accounts) to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, but we do our best, and we'll notify affected users if we ever experience a breach involving personal information.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to receive a portable copy of your data. To exercise any of these rights, email dxt.outreach@gmail.com and we'll respond within a reasonable time (usually within 30 days).

You can also delete your account at any time from inside any DxT app that supports accounts (look in Settings → Account → Delete account), which removes your profile and gameplay data from our servers.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top and, for material changes, give you notice inside the affected apps. Your continued use of our apps after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
